Harnessing Effective Local Philanthropy (HELP) is a DARC initiative aimed at sustainable, impactful philanthropy in Nigeria. The HELP initiative was developed as a means to achieving more organized responsible and impactful philanthropy in Nigeria. Its priary focus is strengthening local philanthropy and building credible philanthropic organizations.

DARC organized a Private Foundation Roundtable on “Sustainable Charity Giving in Nigeria”. The goals of the program were to encourage productive partnerships among private foundations, corporate institutions and non-governmental organizations in Nigeria and as well as promote local support for development work. Participants from private foundations, corporate institutions, NGOs and the media were in attendance.

DARC partners with organizations and institutions to deliver the programs on Sustainable Social Development for private indigenous Foundations in Nigeria as well as private sector organization with CSR portfolios. DARC vehemently continues to develop strategies to impact the NGO sector via HELP.
